This is the non-US air intake boot found on bikes sold outside of the US and north America.
it's a straight shot full flow boot that's specifically molded for the PDS shock on the EXC and XCF-W,
The SXF motocross boot won't fit well and will rub on the shock on a PDS bike because the MX boot is designed for a linkage set up, this boot clears the shock.
If you need max airflow on a PDS bike you need das boot.
*Note* this boot will remove the stock US boot equipped with the intake reeds. Those reeds boost and maintain a strong bottom to mid range power feel but diminish the top end motor performance. If that’s that you’re after then this is a smart way to go.
Also note that you’ll need a fuel strategy to deal with this mod: an ECU reflash, JD Tuner, Vortex ecu, GET ecu or similar.
