Acerbis fuel tanks are constructed of reticulated polyethylene with capacities significantly larger than stock for the extra range you need to explore the unknown.
Because Acerbis tanks fit with your stock plastics and don’t change the look or performance of your bike, you’ll find new and uncharted trails on the same familiar bike you’re used to. So when a remote trail calls your name, take an adventure with the increased range of Acerbis fuel tanks.
**SPECIAL NOTE** Acerbis provides you with 4 'wood type' screws that secure the fuel pump electrical connector plate into the back of the tank. We think they're too short and don't grab enough material to give full confidence in them so we always upgrade those bolts with some longer and larger diameter wood screws from the hardware store. Pick yourself up a $2.50 pack of (4) 1/4"x1.25" wood screws of whatever head type they have and you'll never have an issue.
The other thing worth noting is that there's two tank thicknesses for the KTM/Husky bikes, a thin and thick wall version. All the plated dual sport bikes are thick wall and all the MX and aftermarket are thin. Acerbis provides you with the thin wall fuel pump connection fittings you'll need to transfer your pump from the stock thick wall tank over to this new thin wall tank. The only complaint that we have about this is the provided fuel outlet connector is the straight type and not the 90-deg banjo nut fitting that came stock on your bike. Unfortunately that one won't be re-usable for anything except a thick wall tank, but if you don't have a problem with the straight fitting, Acerbis has you covered.
But if you do want to return to a 90-deg type fitting you'll need to order THIS FITTING
