If you're upgrading your stock thick wall stock tank on a KTM dual sport bike with a thin wall aftermarket tank like an Acerbis or IMS, you may want to install a 90 deg fuel pump banjo nut fitting like the stock tank had.
The problem is the stock thick wall tank fitting isn't compatible with the aftermarket thin wall tanks. He'res the thin wall banjo fitting you'll need.
The Acerbis tank has a thin wall tank outlet included in the package, but it's a straight out connector. If that's acceptable to you then Acerbis has you covered. But if you want the 90, you'll need this.
IMS doesn't give you any fittings or connectors at all, so if you're buying one of their tanks you'll need this to complete the installation. You'll also need the large cap as well.
So just to restate - the Acerbis tank gives you both needed connectors, *except* they give you a straight outlet for the fuel hose. If you want to have a 90 like your stock tank had, you'll need this fitting.
If you have the IMS tank you'll need this fitting as well as THIS one. It takes both parts to complete the IMS installation.
