The Patent-Pending Taco Snorkel Double Draw Fuel Pump is a one-of-a-kind, zero-compromise race ready fuel pump system for Austrian dual sport dirt bikes
Completely Abolish Range Anxiety With Our Zero Compromise Fuel Pump System
Features and benefits of the system:
- Fits any OEM or aftermarket fuel tank of any size, of any brand
- Fully compatible with both PDS or linkage swing arms
- Doesn’t require the drilling of any holes in the tank, so there’s no chance for leaks
- Doesn't have any delicate or fussy electronics submerged in liquid fuel inside the tank that can become subject to corrosion, degradation or failures
- Designed for maximum simplicity in operation and installation
- All billet / metal construction for ultimate durability and reliability, eliminating the plastic OEM pump housing causing problems for some riders
- Metal pump outlet-barb means it won’t snap off like the OEM plastic one will
- Powered by the legendary Taco Moto 3k fuel pump, the single most reliable and proven fuel pump motor for the 250-701 platform
- Solves the incredibly annoying ‘out of gas with fuel still left in the tank’ problem
- Essential pump upgrade for any 22.5+ competition or 24+ enduro 250-501 KTM / GASGAS / Husky two or four stroke dual sport dirtbikes
- Designed to endure the ultimate rigors and demands of extreme off road riding and racing, including the world‘s toughest events like the SCORE Baja 1000, the FIA Dakar Rally, the Sanora Rally, and everything in between
- Fully rebuildable and serviceable
- Self priming
- Patent pending design
- Incorporates the same design concepts used in aviation fuel tank transfer systems
- No hoses or outlets on the bottom left wing of the tank to snag or break off
- Drinks both wings down to the last drops while riding, so no need to tip the bike over to move fuel trapped in the right wing which can be very challenging for solo riders or bikes loaded with adventure gear
- This is a complete drop in unit, so the OEM pump can be saved as a spare, or for a second tank
- Moves the low-fuel light sender down into the lower left wing where you really want it
- Can be installed with the tank on or off of the bike
- Installation time is about 30 min
- Covered by the ironclad Taco Moto lifetime warranty
- Fully developed and tested the Taco Moto way: in the extreme deserts and rugged mountains of the desert southwest, the Colorado Rockies and Baja California
- Can be used with the Taco Moto fuel transfer kit to fully empty the tank and or test the fuel pump with it still on the bike
- This system is the result of two-plus years of development, testing and improvements, and is based on our Taco Moto no-compromises design philosophy

"So did my first long punishing ride after installing the dual snorkel system (incidentally on the same bike with the failed 125 hour OEM fuel pump) and it was a success.
I am confident with the 3000 hour Taco pump based system I'm not going to be worrying about fuel pump issues now.
Just looking at it you can see the fine machining work and quality of the product. The installation video(s) were perfect. Thanks! Keep up the good work.'

"Installed the Double Snorkel System on my 2024 Husqvarna TE300 and the installation process worked fine and the bike started right up.
So far in test riding it's sucked lower than where I’m used to seeing the bike draw from. Overall, I thought the Snorkel product quality looked very good and I’m happy with it and the installation instructions.
Thanks for all your hard work in getting this product created, tested, and shipped!"

I thought your installation video was very good. I watched it several times and found it accurate.
Your inclusion of 1 screw-type and 2 pinch-type hose clamps was perfect as I had not worked with the pinch-type (Oetiker) clamp before.

"Installed the TM double snorkel fuel pump and tested it in the Shenandoah 500 this weekend. Ride is a combination of all kinds of double-track with some paved sections. Ran both days (160 miles) on one tank of fuel (Acerbis 3.9) with no problems and no concerns. Install was super easy and install video was excellent. Cleaning bike up and changing tires for a couple Baja trips next, glad to have this system installed. Super bit of kit."

"I ordered the double snorkel system to Germany and installed it in the OEM tank. The original fuel pump was just terrible and embarrassing.
Installation with the video was child's play and self-explanatory. With this new system I can ride with the older gen fuel pump bikes and not have any fuel worries and that makes me happy. 10 out of 10 points.
I'm going to install the system in my 11-liter Acerbis tank now so I can ride the Krka Raid in Croatia next year. I'm looking forward to it and would like to say a big thank you. Greetings from Germany,"

"I'm setting up my 2024 Husky FE501S as a long distance dual sport trail machine for use across the US western states.
As one of the first upgrades I added the large 4.5g IMS tank and to my disappointment discovered the limitations of the newly re-designed stock fuel pump with the pickup placed up high with no siphons down in the wings to get to all that trapped fuel.
I went looking for a solution and discovered Taco moto was developing the Double Snorkel System compatible with my bike and tank. I watched every Taco review video and was so excited when the day finally came that the package arrived at my doorstep.
The video was extremely detailed and helped me to make sure I had all the proper tools to do the job. The tips and tricks were spot on and I had my new Dual Snorkel System and super high quality fuel pump installed in no time.
The bike started right up without a problem and I filled up the tank and reset the mileage counter and took off for a 110 mile test ride lowering the tank to about 1/2.
Day two was another 80 miles with no issues, and i'm sure I had another 10-20 miles left in the tank or more, and this is exactly what I was hoping for.
Thanks again Taco Moto for correcting a design flaw for so long distance dual sport riders out here in the wide open desert and taking away our fuel fear."

"I had my mechanic install it while installing an IMS 4.5-gallon tank and other accessories (most of which were from Taco Moto).
I haven’t tested it to completely empty, but to a fairly low level of remaining fuel in the tank without any issues.
I’m very happy with the system and being able to take advantage of the range offered by the IMS 4.5 tank."

"Hi Mike, The install went very smoothly after viewing your installation video(s).
I've now had a few opportunities to run the tank down way lower than I could before, thus ending my worries about expanding my riding area.
Thanks to all of you at Taco Moto for all your R&D that help make our riding needs achievable!"

"Call me a sceptic, but I didn't believe the claims Mike made in his video about this new magical pump that could draw up the gasoline from the bottoms of the huge IMS 4.5 gallon tank on my 2025 350 EXCF.
I'm not a scientist or mechanic or anything but I just didn't see how this thing could work. I've bought parts from them before and I know they stand behind everything they do and if it didn't work they would take care of me so I thought what the hell and ordered one and the installation was pretty smooth. Luckily I had one of those side crimps tools so the clamp on the top was pretty smooth and that was the only tricky part. I think it took me 20 minutes to install it with the tank still on the bike.
I thought I would give this thing a real test so I used a syphon and drained out almost all the fuel except for a few inches in both sides and went out on a test ride carrying a gallon in a Giant Loop gas bag to get me home after I ran out of gas. I'm a believer now, after about 20 min the bike sputtered and died and looking down the filler cap all I could see was possibly enough to fill a shot glass. I'll call that totally empty. Dumped in the fuel from the bag and headed home. Good job Taco Crew, this was way better than I could have hoped for."
