So now that you've got all this awesome power from the Taco Moto GET ecu, lets talk about times when you'd need to tame it.
Spinning the back tire during the right conditions can be a blast, but too much at the wrong times can be energy and confidence sapping not to mention setting you up for a possible crash.
The GET Traction Knob (Athena calls it the GPA switch) is a terrific tool for dual sport, enduro, off road, track riders and anyone else who requires the highest level of power management and control
Uncomplicated, straightforward and easy to adjust it allows modulating in real-time up to 10 levels of our sophisticated and patented “GPA power assistance” technology.
The ecu senses wheel spin by comparing engine rpm to the TPS and if the algorithm detects wheel spin - power is automatically reduced until the two come back into range then re-applied automatically.
The same traction control tech that Factory Honda is using on the Supercross bikes of The Lawrence Brothers and Chase Sexton. It's that good.
BEFORE YOU ORDER lets first figure out which of the two GET's you have
If you have the all new for 2024 SX1 ecu these will be green and have Taco Moto branding on the front, and the sticker on the back will identify it as the SX1
If this is the ECU you have, the compatible traction control knob will come supplied with a Y-cable and is only compatible with the SX1 ecu. Order the SX1 Traction Control Knob
If you have the EVO or RX1 ecu these may be blue, orange or green and won't have the Taco Moto branding on the front and the sticker on the back will indicate one of those model numbers.
For those units the Y-cable is not included and is an add on optional accessory and if you want to run the traction control knob AND wifi module at the same time you'll need the Y-Cable harness:
