KTM Special Editions explained

KTM, Husqvarna & GasGas
Special Editions, Explained

Every special edition across KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas: which bikes each comes on, and exactly what it adds over the standard model. Every outside-brand part named. Tap a brand to filter.

Graphics

The livery and what it references. Every edition has one.

Cosmetic

Colored frames, anodized bits, seats, grips. Dress-up that doesn't change the ride.

Hardware

Functional parts, by brand. Exhaust, wheels, suspension, protection you'd otherwise buy.

Bold names are outside brands (FMF, WP, Hinson, D.I.D, Supersprox, ODI, Neken, Giant, Continental, Excel, Rekluse, GUTS, ProTaper, RK, Selle Dalla Valle). How the standard bikes differ from each other is a separate sheet.

KTM

Champion Edition

On (US): 300 XC-W, 350 EXC-F, 500 EXC-F  //  globally 6 models: 250/300 EXC + 250/350/450/500 EXC-F

GraphicsRed Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics kit celebrating KTM's Hard Enduro and EnduroGP titles, over a gloss-orange frame.
Cosmetic adds
  • Gloss-orange powder-coated frame
  • Orange, ribbed Factory seat
  • Orange-anodized front axle puller
  • Orange frame protectors
  • Grey ODI lock-on grips
Hardware adds
  • Supersprox Stealth rear sprocket
  • Semi-floating front brake disc
  • Plastic skid plate
  • Radiator fan
  • Map-select switch
  • Frame protection set
Where it sits: KTM's entry special edition. Mostly dress-up and light protection. Everything here also appears on the Factory Edition, which then piles on a lot more.
KTM

Factory Edition

On: 300 XC-W (enduro)  //  badge also runs on 350 XC-F cross-country + 250/450 SX-F motocross

GraphicsFull Red Bull KTM Factory Racing livery, the closest paint to Trystan Hart's actual Hard Enduro race bike.
Cosmetic adds
  • Gloss-orange powder-coated frame
  • Diamante Factory seat, orange ribbed cover
  • Orange oil filler plug
  • Orange-anodized rear disc guard
  • Orange-anodized CNC hubs + nipples
Hardware adds
  • WP XPLOR PRO 7548 Cone Valve fork
  • FMF Titanium Powercore 2.1 silencer
  • Hinson outer clutch cover
  • Factory wheel set, black D.I.D rims
  • Supersprox Stealth rear sprocket
  • Factory Racing triple clamp
  • Semi-float front disc + composite guard
  • Solid rear disc + rear-brake safety wire
  • Clutch slave cylinder protection
  • Radiator fan, skid plate, map switch
  • Dunlop AT82 tires
Where it sits: the top KTM enduro edition and the only one with the WP Cone Valve fork plus the full FMF / Hinson / factory-wheel package. Closed-course competition only.
KTM

Hardenduro

On: 300 XC-W only (300 EXC in Europe)  //  single displacement, 2-stroke

GraphicsStriped black-on-white spoiler graphics against an orange frame and orange rear fender. Deliberately understated. This one is about function.
Cosmetic adds
  • Orange gloss frame + orange rear fender
  • Black rims, orange-anodized CNC hubs, orange nipples
  • HARDENDURO graphics kit + bar pad
  • Grey ODI lock-on grips
  • Selle Dalla Valle gripper seat (Italy)
  • Orange oil filler plug
Hardware adds
  • Semi-floating front brake disc
  • Front + rear brake disc guards
  • Solid rear disc + locking rear-brake pedal wire
  • CNC-machined anodized triple clamp
  • Closed handguards + pull-straps
  • Clutch slave cylinder protection
  • Factory wheel set, map switch, radiator fan
  • Dunlop Geomax AT82 tires
Where it sits: a protection package, not a bling package. Armor and safety wire, but not the WP Cone Valve fork or FMF pipe the Factory Edition carries.
KTM

Six Days

On: 300 EXC (2T) + 250/350/450/500 EXC-F (4T)  //  5 models, spec shown for 500 EXC-F

GraphicsKTM's ISDE tribute, re-liveried every year in the host nation's colors: Spain for 2025, Portugal for the 100th running in 2027. Includes a 6DAYS seat cover and handlebar graphic.
Cosmetic adds
  • Gloss-orange powder-coated frame
  • Anthracite-coated 6DAYS muffler
  • Orange-anodized CNC triple clamps
  • 6DAYS-logo Giant rims
  • Grey ODI lock-on grips
Hardware adds
  • Composite skid plate
  • Rear-brake safety wire
  • Front axle puller
  • Orange chain guide
  • Continental TKC 80 tires (Metzeler 6 Days for '27)
Where it sits: livery-forward with a modest protection kit. Built on the road-legal EXC-F, so it's the one Six Days that's also street plated.
Husqvarna

Heritage

On (US, 11 models): TE 300 + FE 450 enduro // FE 350s + FE 501s dual-sport // TX 300 + FX 350 XC // TC 125/150/250/300 + FC 350 MX

GraphicsSwedish heritage-inspired blue, yellow, and white livery, a throwback to Husqvarna's history. Ran across the whole lineup, from the TE 300 two-stroke to the FE 501s dual-sport.
Cosmetic adds
  • Exclusive blue radiator shrouds
  • Matching blue gripper seat cover
  • Swedish heritage graphics
Hardware adds

None standard. Heritage is a pure livery package, mechanically the standard bike underneath. A limited-run FMF LE gold-titanium exhaust (100 numbered units, TC 300 / TX 300) was offered as a paid extra.

Where it sits: the style pick. Same bike, cleaner looks, no price penalty for hardware you may not want. Available on the widest spread of models of any edition here.
Husqvarna

Factory Edition (Rockstar)

On: FC 450 + FC 250 motocross  //  spec shown for FC 450

GraphicsRockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing in-mold livery, the actual team paint, over a white frame. Husky renamed this from "Rockstar Edition" to "Factory Edition," but it's the same bike, same Rockstar colors.
Cosmetic adds
  • White powder-coated frame
  • In-mold Rockstar Energy graphics
  • Soft ODI lock-on grips
Hardware adds
  • FMF Factory 4.1 titanium silencer
  • Factory wheels, EXCEL Takasago rims + CNC hubs
  • Adjustable Factory Racing triple clamps (20/22mm)
  • WP Factory Start / holeshot device
  • Rekluse outer clutch cover
  • GUTS Factory Racing seat cover
  • ProTaper bar pad
  • 2K Carbon skid plate + front disc protector
  • Gold RK chain
Where it sits: this is a motocross bike, not enduro. Cross-shop it against KTM's SX-F Factory Edition. Its enduro cousin is the TE 300 Pro, which isn't on this list.
GasGas

EC 300 GP

On: EC 300 only  //  single-model limited edition

GraphicsRetro two-tone livery lifted from the 125 Endurocross that won the 1994 Enduro World Championship. GasGas's first-ever special-edition enduro bike.
Cosmetic adds
  • Glossy black frame
  • New two-tone bodywork
  • Black + red grippy seat cover
  • Black rims
  • Red-anodized front axle puller
Hardware adds
  • Black NEKEN handlebars
  • Black handguards
  • Red Supersprox Stealth rear sprocket
  • Semi-floating front brake disc
  • Stronger wavy rear disc + safety wire
  • Skid plate
  • Radiator fan
  • Map-select switch
Where it sits: a cosmetic-led package with a genuine accessory bundle stacked on, at the value end of the three brands.
Collector footnote

KTM Kailub Russell

Still on the used market. A 2021-only 350 XC-F honoring the eight-time GNCC champ, with an FMF titanium slip-on, factory wheels, a holeshot device, and a quick-fill tank. KTM folded the concept into the Factory Edition from 2022 on, so there's no current KR bike. A clean one is a collector piece now.

The bottom line

Paint or parts?
Heritage is pure paint. Champion, Six Days, and the GP are paint plus a handful of bolt-ons. Factory Edition and the Husky Rockstar are loaded with real hardware you'd otherwise buy separately.

Would you fit these parts anyway?
If you were already going to add a Cone Valve fork, an FMF pipe, factory wheels, and full protection, the loaded editions come out cheaper than buying it all piecemeal. If you just want the look, the cosmetic tiers save you real money.
