The KTM/Husky HBPT is used to press in new bearing races to the frame when replacing steering headset bearings.
The advantage of using the HBPT over a method such as hammering the races in is that the HBPT presses the bearing race into the frame straight, with no chance of the race becoming canted, minimizing the chance of expensive damage.
The HBPT will work on all full size KTM/Husky off road motorcycle, including EXC, SX, XC, XC-W, FE, TE models and also 690/701 models.
The HBPT can be used to install both lower and upper bearing races. Please contact us before purchase if you have any compatibility concerns. Each HBPT kit includes a base plate, race plate, threaded rod, 2 nuts and 2 washers.
