The Athena GET Race Kit moves the injectors from the cylinder side ports to behind the reeds to give the bike a smoother power delivery, big power gains in the low to medium range and a nice push of final power up top.
To meet strict EURO 4 and 5 emissions requirements the design of the TPI injection system is a compromise of power and tail pipe output leaving gaps in the throttle response and power output of the 18+ bikes. The results have been erratic off idle performance, soft mid range roll on's with some flat spots, hard starting, and occasional pipe bang.
And all of these issues are made even worse with a high compression head, changes of the power valve spring, intake mods, slip on replacement, or high speed sustained riding and racing.
The Athena injector relocation kit puts the fuel back into the intake air stream just behind the reeds to be dispersed and atomized into the charge air and pushed through the engine assisted by the crank churn.
This kit is only compatible with bikes running the GET ECU. If you're adding this kit to a bike that already has the ECU contact us to make arrangements to have it re-flashed for compatibility with this kit.
